We are proud to announce that Mrs. Miriam Whitman is this year’s recipient of the Benilde Medal for Service to Parish and School. We look forward to formally recognizing her and giving her the medal during this year’s Luck of the Irish Spring Gala on April 9 starting at 7:30 PM at the Landmark Hotel in Metairie.

Due to the incoming weather emergency, St. Benilde School will be closed tomorrow - Friday March 11, 2016. All extracurricular activities are also cancelled. Exams scheduled for Friday will take place on Monday March 14, 2016. The Benilde Bash also scheduled for Friday will take place on Monday. The end of the Third Grading Period will also now be Monday March 14, 2016. Report cards will be issued by the end of the school day on Wednesday March 16, 2016. Please take steps tonight to be prepared for the incoming weather emergency.

The Men's Club Fish Fry - originally scheduled for this Friday March 11 - has been postponed to Friday March 18. This is due to the forecast inclement weather. Families who have already placed their pre-order with the school will have that order honored next week. If for whatever reason the family cannot receive the order, the Men's Club will offer them a full refund. If you are need of a refund, please contact the school office at 504-833-9894.
