This morning, our Student Council Executive Board and Representatives were inducted for the 2023-2024 school year. We are so excited to see these leaders in action this year.
Pre-K4 and Kindergarten students recently gathered in our new atrium for their weekly Catechesis of the Good Shepherd lesson. The children learned how to decorate our prayer table and practiced various life skills which are also used in the context of the Mass.
Happy 55th Birthday to St. Benilde School! St. Benilde School opened its doors on August 28th, 1968. Our students started this morning with Praise and Worship in the church led by Ms. Naquin. Throughout the day, we enjoyed activities with our buddies, making new friends and having a blast together. We sang "Happy Birthday" during lunch and ate birthday cake, and ended the day with a delicious an ice cream treat! What a sweet way to start our week!
We had such a great time at our annual Back to School Bingo hosted by the St. Benilde School Grandparents Club and the St. Benilde Home & School Association. Thanks to all of the members of our St. Benilde community for joining us today, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all those who brought this event to life.
Friday-Luia! To celebrate the feast day of Saint Benilde and the end of a successful first week of school, our entire campus gathered under the pavilion for a freeze pop treat! We are so excited for an amazing school year ahead!
Every year at St. Benilde School on the first day when all students gather on the campus, Father Matthew visits each classroom and gives a special blessing over the teachers, students, and their learning spaces.
This morning, our Rainbow Building opened their doors for the first day of the 2023-2024 school year. Our enthusiastic Pre-K3, Pre-K4, and Kindergarten students eagerly kicked off their day, embraced by the warm welcome of their teachers. We can't wait to share all the awesome things we learned today!
The day is finally here! We're thrilled to kick off the new school year at St. Benilde School with our enthusiastic 1st to 7th graders. This morning, our SBS students were greeted with smiles, music, and of course cuddles from Auri. We are off to a great start of a wonderful year!
Today we celebrated another successful Family Move In Day for our St. Benilde Students! We enjoyed meeting all of our students new and returning, and we are so ready to see all of our 1st - 7th graders on campus for their first day of school tomorrow!
Blessed and Ready for the Journey Ahead! Our St. Benilde Parish gathered during the 11:00 AM Mass on August 6th to kickstart the new school year with a special blessing of the backpacks.
Our annual Blessing of the Backpacks Mass will take place Sunday, August 6 during the 11:00 AM Mass. All school aged children are invited to attend with their families (and backpacks) to receive a special blessing from Fr. Matthew Johnston. A light reception will follow immediately afterwards in the Cafeteria.

This week while our dedicated teachers are thoughtfully preparing their classrooms and finalizing their meticulously crafted lesson plans, one cherished tradition stands out – the eagerly awaited Back to School Teachers Luncheon, graciously hosted by the St. Benilde School Grandparents Club.
Our St. Benilde School teachers and staff are back on campus and are preparing for a wonderful year! We started our Opening of School Inservice Week with a Mass with Fr. Matthew and Deacon Paul. Following Mass, we were joined by two inspiring guest speakers, Mrs. Donna Porter and Mr. Dewayne 'DJ' Batiste.
